Help local non-profits share in $25,000

In 2010, Town & Country launched the ground-breaking ‘Better Neighbor Fund’ program to highlight and support non-profits in Cumberland and York County by awarding $25,000 in grants. The grant recipients are determined by online voting by the general public during the month of October.

This year, vote for any of the 20 nominees once per day all month-long to help determine the eight organizations that will share in $25,000 in ‘Better Neighbor Fund’ grants that will be awarded at a special reception in November. Town & Country awards grants ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to the eight non-profits that receive the most votes during the month.

“The ‘Better Neighbor Fund’ was launched to give the community a voice in which nonprofits receive funding through a special program. While we provide significant support throughout the year to hundreds of non-profits in Cumberland and York County through our ‘local helping local’ initiative, the ‘Better Neighbor Fund’ initiative remains completely determined by the community. In addition to offering much needed funding, the ’Better Neighbor Fund’ initiative also provides significant awareness for non-profits in our community,” remarked David Libby, President and CEO of Town & Country.

Since 2010, Town & Country has awarded $350K to nearly 130 nonprofits through the ‘Better Neighbor Fund’. To view the 2024 nominees and vote here. Remember, vote once per day through October 31st
